Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Football Quiz processes personal data on its website and mobile apps. The optional email-marketing checkbox is available on the website registration form; you can register without it.
1. Controller and contact
Controller: Furkan Karahan, an individual developer. Privacy and data requests: furkankarahangsb@gmail.com.
2. Data and purposes
- Account: username, email, password hash and account ID for registration, sign-in and account security.
- Profile and gameplay: selected league/club, scores, answers, match results, progress, rewards and submitted questions to provide the game and calculate rankings.
- Support and rewards: support correspondence and contact details needed to fulfill a reward you request.
- Technical/security: IP address, device/browser/app details, session, error and security logs to operate the service, prevent abuse and fix faults.
- Preferences: analytics/ad cookie choices and separate email-marketing choice, so we can apply and record your choices.
- User content: submitted question text, options, explanations and moderation records to review and publish questions in the game.
3. Legal bases and collection
We collect data through account forms, devices, server logs and service integrations. Processing is necessary to provide the account and game; based on legitimate interests for security, abuse prevention and service improvement where balanced with your rights; required by law where applicable; based on your choice for optional analytics and advertising cookies; and based on separate, optional consent for marketing emails.
4. Providers and international processing
Hostinger provides web hosting and the MySQL database. Google provides Google sign-in and Cloud Translation. If you opt in, Google Analytics 4 measures website use. Google advertising services may serve website ads; Google AdMob may serve ads in mobile apps. Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers mobile push notifications. Apple sign-in is used in the iOS app. When a feature is used, the relevant provider may receive technical data such as IP/device information, authentication tokens, text submitted for translation or advertising identifiers. Google, Apple and infrastructure providers may process data in countries other than yours; transfers are handled under applicable data-protection requirements. Provider privacy terms also apply.
5. Rankings
Club rankings may be public. Individual player rankings are available only to signed-in users. Your username, selected club and score may appear in those rankings; your email and password are not displayed there.
6. Cookies
Necessary cookies support sessions and security. Google Analytics and Google advertising cookies are optional and are not loaded unless you separately allow them in the preference panel. You can change your choice using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page. The main website interface uses system fonts, not Google Fonts.
7. Marketing email
On the website registration form, you may separately and optionally opt in to Football Quiz news and promotional emails. This is not required to register and does not affect gameplay. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us at furkankarahangsb@gmail.com. Account, service and security messages are separate from marketing.
8. Retention and security
Account data is kept while the account is active and afterward only as needed to complete deletion, meet legal duties, protect security or resolve disputes. Technical logs are kept only as needed for security and troubleshooting. Passwords are not stored in plain text. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or object to certain processing by emailing furkankarahangsb@gmail.com. Account deletion instructions are at the deletion page. We respond within applicable legal deadlines.
10. User content and children
Football Quiz may contain user-submitted football questions and content. Do not submit another person’s personal data. The service is not designed specifically for children; age information is provided on the relevant app-store listing.
